Mudrooms

Mudrooms are some of our favorite additions to build. If you’ve never had one, the mudroom offers one of those rare opportunities for you to ask yourself how you ever got along without one. Those that have them know exactly what we mean.

Mudrooms offer so much in value to the homeowner -from keeping the sand out of the house after a long day at the beach, a place to drop muddy boots and scarves in the winter, or book-bags and sports equipment after school.

Also, if space allows, a mudroom is a perfect place to move your washer and dryer to, up from the musty Cape Cod basements we all know and love.  When designed properly, the mudroom functions as a perfect transition area from the outdoors.

With multiple flooring options, built-in shelves, cabinets, coat racks and bench seats, a mudroom could be just the answer you need for that little extra space and de-cluttering of your home.
